Piccola Italia Da Luigi Pizzeria

We stopped off to share a pizza in this lovely pizzeria. We shared a large pizza, which was very generous. The base was thin, light and crispy - with lovely toppings. Great pizza!

Piccola is a cute pizzeria with a wide variety of pizzas options available! They also have different focaccio breads and calzones. The pizza is delicious and you are able to customise your order with ease. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their drink menu has a wide of drinks available. I would recommend this place!

Piccola Italia Da Luigi Pizzeria is one of those rare places where a single dish can etch itself into memory. For me, it was their Contadina pizza. Rustic yet refined, it balanced earthy toppings with the kind of crust that spoke of craft and patience — thin, crisp at the edges, yet chewy enough to remind you it was made by hand and baked with care. The atmosphere of the pizzeria amplifies the experience: warm, welcoming, and without pretension. It has the kind of charm that makes you slow down, order a glass of wine, and simply savor. Service has always been attentive without hovering, which fits the restaurant’s homely Italian feel. What makes Piccola Italia special isn’t just the food, but the consistency with which it delivers comfort and authenticity. The Contadina is the dish that sealed my affection for this place, but every visit has had the same effect — reminding me why some meals linger long after you’ve left the table. If you’re seeking a pizza that carries both tradition and memory, Piccola Italia Da Luigi is a worthy stop.

Small pizzeria in the busy Bassac lane area. Large choices of pizza. Pizza dough is good but my pizza with crudo ham was a little bit dry, not enough tomato sauce. Anyway it is a good option if you are hungry and in this area

After many many years the pizzas are still good and it's a nice place to watch the street and passersby. Luigi's was the first place in what eventually became the Bassac Lane entertainment district and was established by Luigi the former proprietor of Il Duo. It proved so popular, that a group of pals set up Seibur (since replaced by Casa Diego) a few houses down, to handle Luigi's overflow. These pals had established Seibur to house their favorite barman from Rubies, a popular St 240 bar that had closed early 2010s. (Seibur is the reverse spelling of Rubies). Two brothers involved in Seibur then went on to populate Bassac Lane with more and more bars (library, moto cambodge, harry's etc), other bar and restaurants moved in and the rest is history.

Had a large ham and mushroom pizza. Good size to share with someone else. Good quality ham, tomato sauce tasty, pizza dough was good. Certainly the best pizza in Cambodia (sorry Stefano). Service friendly and efficient. They take cards!

Let's face it: this is the best pizza place in Cambodia. (Yes, I tried tens of others.) Now, I come here for dinner at least once a week. And if you think it is not the best one, you should come here again and make sure you know what good pizza tastes and looks like. (Yes, I think I know what a good pizza is, I compared them in every single town in between Milan and Naples.) They have great choice of ham, cheese and pickled vegetables as well. ...but hey, Tiramisu here is far from perfect.
